This section features installation videos for a range of products for structural concrete construction.
Ancon KSN Anchors, in combination with BT parallel-threaded reinforcing bars, simplify concrete slab-to-wall construction joints when compared to traditional methods. This quicker, easier and above all, safer operation, eliminates the need for on-site bar straightening and the drilling of formwork or concrete. The system replaces cogged or hooked bar ends, thereby simplifying bar scheduling and minimising congestion in the wall.
Shear Load Connectors
Ancon’s range of shear load connectors offers significant advantages over plain dowel bars. They are more effective at transferring load and accommodating movement and, due to their two-part construction, are more simple to install.

Ancon Lockable Dowels have been designed for use at temporary movement joints, most commonly found in post-tensioned concrete construction. The dowel allows initial shrinkage of the concrete to take place and is then locked in position with a mechanical plate and a controlled amount of epoxy resin. The locked dowel continues to transfer shear, but prevents further movement taking place.

The Lockable Dowel has won a 2017 Most Innovative Product award in the USA. It has been named Editor’s Choice in the ‘Materials for Concrete Construction’ category.
The new design guide provides designers with the capacities for QwikFoot and QwikFix Cast-in Threaded Inserts in compliance with Technical Specification TS101 for permanent applications and AS 3850:2015 for temporary braces and strongbacks.
