Helifix Joins Ancon

Ancon Building Products is pleased to announce the acquisition of Helifix, a manufacturer of specialist helical fixings for the construction industry. 

Managing Director of Ancon’s operations in Australia and New Zealand, Jon Bond, commented,

“The Helifix range of innovative and concealed masonry repair systems will complement our existing range of products for masonry construction. With operations in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Europe, the Helifix Group strengthens Ancon’s position in these key territories.” 

Jerry Lahra, manager of the Helifix division of Ancon said,

“The change of ownership will allow the local expertise of Helifix to benefit from the larger company resources, and thanks to Ancon’s infrastructure, we can offer our customers a more comprehensive product range and local 'nationwide' stock."

Ancon Gains ISO 9001 Accreditation

Global Mark has officially confirmed that Ancon’s Quality Management System complies with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001-2008: Quality Management Requirements; an internationally recognised standard. 

Gaining ISO 9001:2008 certification reflects Ancon’s commitment to quality. The company implements all necessary procedures and controls required to consistently deliver reliable products and meet the expectations of its employees, customers and suppliers.

New Brochure for the Precast Industry

Ancon offers an unrivalled service to the precast concrete industry and our latest brochure showcases the comprehensive product range available. 

The updated Lifting, Fixing & Anchoring Systems brochure features a host of new products, from a stainless steel version of the Unicon QwikFoot Ferrule, which provides a metric thread fixing point in precast concrete panels, to the QwikMag Magnetic Formwork Clamp, a European-engineered magnetic clamp designed for use with steel, timber and aluminium formwork in precast concrete factories. 

HALFEN products including cast-in channels and façade hanging systems are also featured in the literature. Ancon is the sole distributor for Halfen-branded products in Australia.
