Threaded Inserts and Accessories

Cast-in Threaded Inserts provide a metric thread fixing point in precast concrete panels and are used for two distinct applications:

- The attachment of permanent structural fixtures
- The attachment of temporary braces and strongbacks

Leviat supplies a range of reliable threaded inserts which are suitable for a wide range of concrete connections. They are available in thread sizes from M10 to M24 and with Unicoil threads UC16 in either zinc plated and hot dip galvanized mild steel and grade 316 stainless steel.

Ancon QwikFoot Inserts (Zinc, Galvanised, and Stainless Steel)

QwikFoot inserts are heavy duty, hot forged inserts with a large foot for high strength anchorage to concrete. They have a cross-hole to fit a bar for positive tie-in to reinforcement to prevent movement during concrete pouring and vibrations. The wide range of available accessories, including the Ancon QwikFoot Precast Chair, nailing plate and antenna cap, allows for a quick and reliable installation according to the site requirements.

Ancon QwikFix Round Inserts

QwikFix inserts are medium duty, round bodied inserts, machined and cross-holed from solid G350 steel, available in thread size M12, M16 and M20. They are also available with a Unicoil 16 thread for the quick connection of braces and strongbacks. The cross-hole is designed to fit an N12 bar. The tension capacity is limited by the shear resistance of the inserted N12 bar. The wide range of available accessories, including the Super Chair, nailing plate and antenna cap, allows for a quick and reliable installation according to the site requirements.

Ancon QwikFix Double Ended Inserts

Double ended inserts provide a fixing point on both faces of the panel. They are manufactured from zinc coated 350 grade alloy steel and available with an M16 or M20 thread size to suit a variety of panel widths.
