We have added the Halfen DEHA Universal Lifting Clutch to our precast concrete lifting clutch range, extending the working load limit of the Ancon range up to 32 tonnes.

The new lifting clutch joins the UniLift Locking Klaw. Ancon now offers the ideal range of lifting and handling systems for a wide variety of precast concrete units, particularly in civil engineering applications. The range offers strong, safe, lightweight solutions which are compatible with all spherical head lifting anchors.

The Sydney Opera House Turns 40...

Perhaps Australia's most iconic building, the Sydney Opera House, is 40 years old! 

In the 1990's, some twenty years after the venue opened to the public, the external promenade required upgrading and Ancon was selected to supply stainless steel reinforcing bar. Stainless steel was chosen as it offers a high degree of corrosion resistance without requiring additional protection.
