1882

George Clark of Sheffield (UK) is founded

1971

Ancon Stainless Steel Fixings (UK) is founded

1992

George Clark of Sheffield (UK) and Ancon Stainless Steel Fixings (UK) (including its subsidiary Harris and Edgar) merge to form Ancon Clark

1993

Additional 36,000sqft UK manufacturing site opened, Greenfield, North Wales, UK

1997

Ancon Clark’s head office relocates to the 70,000 sq.ft. purpose-built President Park facility in Sheffield (UK). Harris and Edgar in Epsom is closed to centralise sales operations in Sheffield. CCL Systems of Leeds (UK) is acquired including sales offices in U.A.E and Australia

1998

Ancon Schweiz is founded, Switzerland

Ancon Clark is merged with CCL Systems to form Ancon CCL

1999

Formation of Ancon CCL International and Ancon Building Products

2001

UK business rebrands to Ancon Building Products

2002
Ancon Building Products GesmbH founded, Austria

2003
Third UK manufacturing site opened
